How you can help

There are many ways you can get involved with the activities of Lions. It all depends on what you want to get out of it.

Donating

With the current pandemic fundraising events are difficult if not impossible. You can still help us by donating online via one of the following methods.

We are all volunteers but the first way you can get involved is by volunteering for Lions' events such as our litter picks or our Christmas collections. You can volunteer as often or as little as you want, just fill in the form below or look out for volunteering opportunities on this site and our Facebook page

Becoming a Lion

It may be that you are happy to just help out but we're hoping that, once you've got to know us, you'll want to get more involved in deciding what we do, who we support and in planning our events. If so then you can become a Lions member. Just fill in the form below to find out more.

Community Volunteers

Throughout the year we are busy with fundraising and community events but with only 17 members we cannot do as much as we would like to, and none of us are getting any younger - this is why we would like your help!

If you are want to put something back into the community but don't feel you have the time to be a full member of the club why not consider joining us as a Community Volunteer. As a volunteer

You are welcome to come along to any of our Social meetings, which are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month at The Banbury Club, Bosworth Drive, Chelmsley Wood at 8.00pm.
You are also welcome to attend any or all of our Social events that are planned throughout the year including our annual Dinner Dance every October
You will not have to pay dues or any joining fees.
We promise that we will only use the contact information you supply us to contact you about Community Volunteers and Marston Green & District Lions.
All we ask is that you support us at Lions events at least 3 -4 times during the year, and there will be a variety of things to chose from, such as fundraising at summer fetes, accompanying Santa and his sleigh during the run up to Christmas, helping out at litter picks or at our free entertainment evening for senior citizens.
