Spring 2019 Easter Egg Hunt
Marblehead Easter Egg Hunt set for Saturday, April 13
MARBLEHEAD - The Marblehead Peninsula Lions Club will host the Marblehead Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 13 at 1 p.m. in James Park. Children, ages 12 and under, will hunt for 4,500 eggs – each with a prize inside! Age groups will be 4 and under, 5-8 and 9-12.
According to Lion Matt Essex, one lucky child in each age group will win an age-appropriate bicycle – if they find a golden egg. “The bikes have been generously donated by the Marblehead Bank,” Essex said.
The Easter Bunny will make a special appearance and pose for photos. In addition, an opening prayer will be given by Father Andrew Bartek of Holy Assumption Orthodox Church.
Essex reminds parents and grandparents to bring a basket or bag for their child’s goodies. The event is free and will be held rain or shine.
