Zack Schornack from Every Meal will be our speaker at the February Maplewood North Lions Dinner Meeting. The meeting takes place on Tuesday, February 4 at Sgt. Our Business Meeting is 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18 at Villages on McKnight, 177 McKnight Road N, St. Paul. 

The annual All You Can Eat Chili Feed is coming up soon! Thursday, February 27 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Lakewood Salvation Army, 2080 Woodlynn Avenue, Maplewood. For $15 you get all you can eat chili with all the fixiings plus bread, crackers, coffee, milk & dessert. 

Our next Joy Park Neighborhood Preserve monitoring will take place  on Saturday, February 8. Join us for a pleasant nature walk and the rewards of assuring this public treasure is clean and safe. We gather at 10 a.m. in the Joy Park parking lot across the street from the Preserve.

We collect used eyeglasses! They are truly the "gift of sight" to people in third world countries. In fact, we collected 4,375 pairs last year! If you've got old eyeglasses to contribute, drop them in a collection box at your local optical shop or call any Lion!
