Meetings

 

Our April Dinner Meeting will feature Lion Kathie Anderson speaking on the Special Olympics.  It will be held on Tuesday,  April 7  at Sgt. Pepper's in Oakdale (930 Helena Avenue N). Our April business meeting is 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17  in the Maple Ridge Community Room at 1695 County Road D East, Maplewood.  

Lions produced more than 50 Easter cards during our March business meeting for the residents at Boden Senior Living. 

Our next Joy Park Neighborhood Preserve monitoring will take place  on Saturday, April 11. Join us at 10 a.m. for a pleasant nature walk and the rewards of assuring this public treasure is clean and safe.

The Maplewood North Lions will be on hand at the April 17 Maplewood Volunteer Expo from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Maplewod Community Center. If you're interested in learning more about the world's largest service organization and what our local club is doing right here in our community, stop by. 

Lions Club members will be on hand to assist the Maplewood Spring Clean UP from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 24 at Aldrirch Arena, 1850 White Bear Avenue. 

Our next Today's Harvest volunteer opportunity will be Saturday, May 9.  Contact Lion Roger Green at (651) 357-8080 if you'd care to join us in this fun and rewarding service project. 

Maplewood North Lions are a sponsor of the May 15 Relay for Life at Tartan High School. Join us for this important fundraiser in the fight against cancer.

We collect used eyeglasses! They are truly the "gift of sight" to people in third world countries. In fact, we collected 4,375 pairs last year! If you've got old eyeglasses to contribute, drop them in a collection box at your local optical shop or call any Lion!
