1).Minor Projects

We are giving Financial help to 2 poor patients  for medical treatment every month and we spend Rs-3000/- each.

  3).Permanant Project

We are conducting a Diabetic Detection Camp and Hypertension Detection Camp at Krishna Nursing home,Mannar on the Last Saturday of every month for the last 3 years. Medicines are also given free for the needy. Till now we could detect 128 new Diabetic Patients and 214 new Hypertension patients.

4).Independence  Day.                                                                                                                                                             Independence Day  was celebrated on 15th August 2012.Sweets were distributed to the L.P.Schools    &     High Schools in Mannar.

5).Support youth  for Career Guidance  Courses.

We have adopted a very poor but brilliant boy Mr.Sreejith, s/o Mr.Radhakrishnan,Moonupurackal, Kuttamperoor,Mannar.Who got admission for Engineering this year.His parents were finding it difficult for remitting the admission fee and Tution Fee. Hence he was in a position to stop his studies this year.We have decided to bear all the expenses of his studies and Remitted Rs-30000/- towards the Admission Fee and Tution Fee for the whole year.We will be paying the comming years also.

6).  District  chief Project Co- Ordinator Visit

District Chief Project Co-Ordinator MJF.Ln.Binu George visited our club  on 9th september 2012  during  brifed the members  about the  District  Projects.

7).  S F K  Programe

We had adopted 5 nearly schools in Mannar and ensured the participation of 5 teachers, two lionesses and 3 lions members in the  Vision training Camp held at  Thiruvalla Lions Club Hall  on 11th september 2012,   470 students were tested by the trained teachers  and 16 students wereidentified as having  vision problem.

8).  Lions  Quest  Programe

We had  sponsored  3 teachers  for the Disrtict  Lions  Quest  programe, conducted at Marthoma  Residential  School  Thiruvalla  on 14th  to  16th september 2012. PST 's  also attended  the opening  and closing sessions.

9).  1st  Zone Conferance  &  Cultural  Programes

PST's, 14 Lions members, 8 Lionesses, 6 Leos attended the  Zone Conferance also  participated  Cultural Programes at  Thiruvalla Lions Club Hall  on 23rd  September 2012.

10).  Gandhi  Jayanthi  Celebration

We had cleaned the Mannar store Jn on 2nd  october 2012  during the celebration of  Gandhi  Jayanthi  Lions & Lionesse members participated.

11).  plants  Distribution

WE  have  provided Plants to the  Public on 2nd  October  2012 at  Parumala Mannar. The function was inaugurated  by Project  Co-Ordineter  Ln. Sunny  Punchamannil.

12).  Plastic  Eradication

We  had  conducted  a Plastic  Eradication  programe  on 5th October 2012 at  Mannar town. We had calected  the  Plastic from the public.

13).  Peace  Poster  Contest

We had  conducted  the Peace  Poster  Contest was  held at Nair  Samajam  Boys  School  Mannar  on 20th  October 2012 from 10.am to 12 noon.54 students from the neighbouring Schools  participated.

14). Public  Relation  Program- Steel  Chairs Distribution

We have provided 6 steel chairs (2 sets of 3 chairs) dormant type to the  Homeo Hospital & Mannar Health Center.  The  function was inaugurated by 2nd VDG MJF Lt  Col Ln.N.N.P. Nair on 12th October 2012.

15).Reading   Action  Programe

We have collected  150 nos  reading books  from club  members  and  donated to  Tagore Library at Parumala, Mannar on 27-11-2012
