What we're working on now:

The "Friends First" Initiative is a long-term training and curricular project that will be established in the Manitou Springs elementary,  middle and high schools.  We're working with the Karen Gaffney Foundation,  who developed the program.   "Friends First"  is a protocol that encourages disabled kids and regular education kids to form life-long, genuine, bonds of friendship throughout the student years. 

What we've recently accomplished:

Manitou Lions have bought concussion helmets for the high school sports teams,  and made a contribution for the high school band trip.  We've had one request for a vision screening and prescription glasses,  and made a contribution to the Key Club.

What we need:

We're looking for a cheap,  used laptop to run our club financials on!
