Best in Class Awards 2022

Pleased to let you know that I have put the Malvern Onyx Lions Club forward as a finalist for the “Community Leader” award at Daily Bread’s upcoming Best in Class Awards. The Community Leader Award recognizes an individual or group who has raised awareness of poverty issues by creating and organizing a community fundraiser, event, or campaign. The Community Leader mobilizes support and engagement in poverty reduction and shows leadership in the community, creating a network of advocates and supporters for the cause.

The event is taking place on the evening of Tuesday, September 20 and will be held in-person, albeit with limited capacity. We can likely accommodate two people from your group in-person. The event will also be livestreamed so others can join virtually. I will be sending out a proper invite early next week with more details including links to RSVP, but I wanted to give you a quick heads up in advance. Congratulations on this nomination and thank you for your hard work and generous, continued support!
