JULY 2020 Projects
Our Lionistic Year Started with participation in District Signature Project Tree Plantation and donated Rs.2000/- to district (Sponsored by Ln Rm Thiyagarajan) for this and also we have donated Rs.2000/- for Lions Dialysis Centre (sponsored by President Ln R.Panchatcharam) August 2nd our PDG Ln S Venkat Raman has contributed Rs. 2000/- to Lions Activity centre and Rs. 2000/- to Akshaya trust for Dine with Divine in memory of his father’s Anniversary. On 15th July we have done Dine with Divine Project at Andhra mahila sabha cost Rs.2000/-,sponsored by Ln Gandheeswari.And it continued on 17thJuly also @ Captain Lingam Trust Madurai cost Rs.3000/-This one is sponsored by Ln Ramanathan.We have donated School fee for two Children at Ebenasar School Ambattur Amount Rs.9000/- sponsored by Pudur Club
In total 7 Projects in July amounting to Rs.22000/-
AUGUST 2020 Projects
August month has begun with Tree Plantation of 1000 Trees at Thervazhi village, Gummidipoondi organised by Mr.Ramesh DSP of Gummidipoondi, Cost 15000/- sponsored by Pudur Club and also we have distributed Kabasura kudineer for prevention of Covid-19 at the same village in the morning which costs Rs.1000/- sponsored by Ln A G Shivaraman. District Governor Ln Rm Thiyagarajan, DC GST Ln Lalitha Mohan, CS Ln Vijayakumar, RC Ln AG Shivaraman, DC-ES Ln Elango , Pudur President Ln R Panchatcharam, Secretary Ln Tamilarasan and Treasurer Ln Panneerselvam participated in the project.
On 5th of August our member Ln George has donated 25 KG of rice to a local street vendor cost 1100.
14th of August Our PDG Ln S Venkatraman has donated Rs.40000/- towards Lions Activity Centre .
15h of August Mega Tree Plantation Project carried out in association with CRPF 77 Battalion and MaFoi Foundation in 7 panchayats around Kovilpathagai lake. In that colourful event Honourable Minister MaFoi K Pandiarajan was the Chief Guest. Dist 324A8 Governor Ln RameshBabu, Our Governor Ln RM Thiyagarajan, International Director Ln R Sampath, Our District advisor and PDG Ln N R Dhanabalan, VDG 2 Ln Manivannan, DC CS Lion Vijayakumar, DC ES Lion Elango, DC GST Ln Lalithamohanan, RC Ln A G Shivaraman , PST & Members of Pudur club participated in the event.Total Cost of the Project 2 lacs and we have spent Rs. 85000/- Almost 7 Vliiages with each minimum 1000 Trees which would benefit 3 lac people in the villages.
15th of August morning Independence day celebrated VOC Matric Hr Sec School , Vyasarpadi Chennai 600039 and honoured 8 Corona Warriors on the occasion at the cost Rs.4000.
21st of August Ln Harigopal has sponsored a Dine with Divine project at Akshaya Trust mudichur in memory of his father’s anniversary costs Rs.2000/-

5th sep Our club has donated Rs 3000 Lions Activity Centre sponsored by Ln Pannerselvam, Treasurer on account of his Daughter's Wedding Anniversary. This will help 30 poor patients for diabetic testing
5th sep Our club has participated in Teachers Day Celebrations honoured 10 eminent teachers of Government Boys High School,Mogappair, Chennai with momento and shawl. 5th sep During Teachers Day Celebrations we have planted 10 Saplings at Govt Boys HIgh School Mogappair East, Chennai
6th sep Childhood Cancer Awareness, Education and Advocacy President Ln R.Panchatcharam welcomed the gathering, Dist Governor Ln RM Thiyagarajan inaugurated the session.Dr. Revathi Raj MBBS, DCH, PLAB, MRCP, FRCPath World Renowned Hematologist delivered the Keynote Address and given wonderful presentation about childhood cancer. International Director Ln R Sampath and PDG and Advisor to our District Ln N R Dhanabalan was guest of honour. Multiple GST Coordinator Ln CC Johnny ,VDG1 Ln S P Bakialakshmi and VDG2 Ln Manivannan offered felicitaion. PDG Ln Venkaraman, Region Chairperson Ln A G Shivaraman and Zone Chairperson Ln Alamelu Sundaram have given impressions. Treasurer Ln Pannerselvam rendered vote of thanks.
7th sep Our Club Has donated Infrared Thermal Scanner to Government Boys High School, Mogappair East, Chennai. Costs Rs.1800/- Sponsored by Ln V George

President has initiated the Service Program called MY CLUB MY SERVICE. The Idea is to encourage and actively involve the members who are less active / reluctant to come out for service projects except for making donations.
First project by Lion Lady of the President today.
Our Club has adopted Anganvadi Children for 12 Months Who are called severely stunted meaning underweight /height. For those 11 Children we have provided nutritional supplementary food for one month. First month today Ln Karthiyayini has provided the foods cost Rs. 7000/-
