Medical Equipment Closet:
Our Lions Club offers a durable medical equipment closet. All equipment is clean and in good repair. Some items available include: hospital beds, wheel chairs, commodes, shower chairs, crutches, canes, walkers, etc... We do ask that items be returned when no longer needed, and donations are always gratefully accepted. If you or someone you know is in need of borrowing from our closet, please contact a Lions Club member, send us an email, or message us on Facebook.
4th of July Celebration:
Each year our club organizes Lyndonville's 4th of July Celebration. This day is full of fun events including: parade, craft show, chicken bbq, concerts, tractor pulls, Hospice duck race, and of course our wonderful firework display.
Community Appreciation Concert:
In a combined effort with GoArt, we host a summer concert at the Town of Yates Town Park. It is an evening of great music, dollar hotdogs/sodas, and friends. What a great night out on the shores of Lake Ontario.
Eye Exams/Glasses:
Our club offers the opportunity for those in need to receive an eye exam and glasses. The gift of better vision could be a life changing experience for someone you love. For more information please contact a Lions Club member, send us an email, or message us on Facebook.
Adopt-A-Highway Program:
Twice a year our volunteers spruce up the section of Route 63 that runs through Lyndonville.
Holiday Poinsettias:
Each Christmas season we deliver holiday cheer and poinsettias to those who may need a little boost around the holidays. If you know of someone who could benefit from a friendly visit and a beautiful poinsettia to brighten their home around Christmas time please contact us.
Rick Callard Pumpkin Carving Contest:
Every fall we (along with the Lyndonville Fire Department) invite the children of our community, and their parents, to participate in a morning filled with: cider, doughnuts and pumpkin carving/painting. There are prizes for each grade level from K-6, and lots of fun to be had by all.
Annual Easter Egg Hunt:
Along with the Lyndonville United Methodist Church we assist in our towns annual Easter Egg Hunt. A great time is had by all as we enjoy hotdogs, searching for wonderful surprises, and basking in the friendship that is shared throughout our wonderful community.
