2019  FALL  FLEA  MARKET REVIEW

Our Fall Flea Market is history and we had a great day with spectacular weather.  Thanks to all of our vendors, patrons, sponsors and club members for making this event so successful.  Our club's Flea Market chairperson was  Lion Betsy Kresge who once again did a fantastic job.  She and her organizing committee of Lions Phil Kresge, Heather Day, Dale Kuhns and Christine Scheaffer did an excellent job of putting it all together.  Although the number of vendors was less than usual, Macungie Park was very crowded with many patrons who browsed the varied sites.  Thanks again to all who made this a very successful venture.

FOOD  BANK  DONATIONS

Our club will continue to collect food items for the Zionsville Area Food Pantry .  Lion Everett Johnson will be helping us with this effort and taking our donated items to the church.  With the help of our club, many people will have an opportunity to eat well balanced meals every day.  Our donations have been very sparse recently.  Since the holiday season will be upon us soon, please help us by bringing in some items that can be passed on to the many needy people who use this food bank.  Toiletries are especially in need at this time.

Thanks for your donations

STUDENT  EYE  GLASSES/EXAMS

Our club provides eye glasses and eye exams to needy students in the East Penn School District.  When a student has been identified as needing glasses, we set up an appointment with an eye doctor and provide a free exam.  Following the exam, if glasses are necessary, then basic ones are given to the student.  If you know of such a student, please contact one of the following:

Lion Meg Leister  at  610-928-0268  or

Lion President Jack Graff  at 610-965-4925
