Taft Leo Club


The Taft Leo Club was established in the fall of 2011 at William Howard Taft High School. It currently is the only Leo Club under the administration of the Los Angles Mid-Valley Lions Club.

Currently the Taft Leo Club is involved in one major service project. Members of the Leo Club currently tutor after school at Gaspar de Portola Middle School. Tutors assist the students of Portola in any possible way. They tutor in the subjects of math, science, English, and history. They also assist students with projects, presentations, and homework. This is currently their most successful program.


The Taft Leo CLub is also involved in the recycle for sight program.

They currently have collected 50 pairs of glasses for the program since there establishment. 

All students interested in joining the Taft Leo Club must  fill out an application. Click on the "Leo Club Application" button in order to receive the application. Ignore the yellow highlights. If you print the application the highlights will not be present. Once you have filled out the application please return it to room E229, Mrs. Kwan's class.
