Noon Longview Lions EyeGlass Program

For many years the Longview Lions Club has raised funds through various charitable events to provide eye exams and eye glasses for under privileged children in Longview, TX.

 Recently, the Club has been awarded funds from the Gregg County Tobacco Grant to use to provide eye exams and eyeglasses for additional children and adults in Gregg county who qualify, based on need.

 The Longview Lions Club has partnered with local school nurses to provide a more cost effective solution for exams and eye glasses. This program, as well as the Gregg County Tobacco Grant, have allowed the club to increase adult participation substantially in the last two years.
