As an ongoing program, the Londonderry Lions Club, in support of Lions Club International, collect eyeglasses in their mission to combat vision impairment and blindness worldwide. All types of used glasses, sunglasses, prescription and non- prescription, for children and adults are accepted. Even readers are useful. Poor vision can easily be corrected with eyeglasses, yet many lack access to basic eye care. The Lions have recognized this need , collecting glasses to support the Recycle for Sight Program. Many who receive the glasses will experience corrected vision for the first time, enabling them to live productive lives, support families, attend school, and advance their education. To donate used glasses, drop off locations are at the Londonderry Town Hall, Library, and the Londonderry Senior Center. Thank you very much for your consideration in this effort to help others!
