Observing 80 Years of Lionism
In Livingston, Texas
For the 102+ members of the Livingston Lions Club, their weekly meetings are much more than an opportunity to network with other fellow Lions. It’s an opportunity to improve the quality of life for the poor, the sick, the handicapped and the aged; share community news and a good meal; as We Serve.
From President Todd Summy:
Greetings fellow Lions members! I am extremely honored to be your 2025-2026 Livingston Lions Club President. I still consider myself a relatively new member, and hope I will fill the position adequately. I follow Paula Harvey that we sadly lost last year, and Jerod Jernigan that not only preceded Paula’s term, but stepped up in my stead to complete Paula’s unfinished term and allow me a little more time to learn more about the way things work to give me the best chance to be successful. Jerod truly is a leader and learning from him gave me the best example of what a president is all about. Showing that a true Lion is a teammate, willing to put the best interest of our organization first. Well done, Jerod! I will do my best to apply the leadership style that both you and Paula exhibited to me in my short time. All members have been extremely helpful, showing me the way, and truly honoring the pledge they gave at my induction. I am proud to associate with every single member of our club, and the way we work together to support the mission of what Lions do for their communities. I promise to make every effort that I can to be worthy of the Livingston Lions Club. I look forward to all of your support to help me be the best Lion I can be, and I will follow the ethic and integrity everyone has shown me in my few years with you. I know you all will make me the best Lion I can be! God bless you, and our club.
Yours in Lionism
President 2025-2026
Todd Summy
