PROJECTS OF LIONESTIC YEAR 2014-15
Our permanent projects such as T.B. Hospital park, Food trolley at T.B. Hospital, Statures at Birubari hill , Welcome board at Guwahati Air Port and road signs at Barshapara, etc. are maintained well.
On 26.06.2014 Our new BOD was installed by Lion Mandira Chanda headed by Lion Subhankar Das. On the occation we distributed two swing machines to two needy families to earn their lively hood.
On 04.07.2014 we attended the prize distribution ceremony of the district and our club got 12 awards from the club including best club in the district in category IV. Besides that during the year our Lion Mandira Chanda and Lion Subhajit Sinha received the International President’s appreciation certificate and Lion Subhajit Sinha awarded with International President’s Leadership Medal.
On 09.08.2014 We distributed Rice, Mug Dal and M.Oil to BHARAT SEVASRAM SANGHA , PAHARTOLI , GUWAHATI on the occation of annual function from 9th to 11th August 2014. Where more than ten thousand devotees taken Prasad
On 10.08.2014 We celebrated "RAKSHA BANDHAN" AT SNEHALAY, PALTANBAZAR, GUWAHATI an orphan house run by "DONBOSCO" where 125 boys are staying. We arranged a cultural program and followed by dinner.
On 15.08.2014 We distributed fruits and food items among the patients of T.B. Hospital, BIRUBARI GUWAHATI. On the occasion of 68th INDEPENDENCE DAY . 100 patients were benefited
On 15.08.2014 We distributed fruits and foot items among the patients of DHIREN PARA CHILD AND MATERNITY HOSPITAL, DHIREN PARA, GUWAHATI. On the occasion of 68th INDEPENDENCE DAY . 50 patients were benefited
On 14.09 2014 We hosted 1st Region meet of Region VI at SOUTH POINT SCHOOL . GLT & GMT Coordinator was present on the occation. Seven club’s PST was present. Two clubs outside Guwahati from MORIGAON AND JAGIROAD attended the meeting.
On 24.09.2014 We distributed food items and drinking water among the flood victims at Dhirenpara, Guwahati with District administration.
On 02.11.2014 We took the program of cleaning of road and drain of Nanaknagar, GMCH Road, Bhangagarh.
On 24.12.2014 District Goveernor visited our club on his official visitation
On 21.01.2015 Blood donation at Marawari Hospital & Resarch centre Blood bank and donated 32 units of blood and published in the local news papers.
On 26.01.2015 Celebrated Republic day and hosted flag by our club president at South Point School.
On 26.01.2015 distributed food items to the patients and attendent of T.B. Hospital Birubari , Guwahati .
