On the shores of the Atlantic ocean and at the foot of the Chariot of the Gods, is the Limbe Pearl Lions Club (Pearl).

Created in 1988 as a Lioness Club and chartered a Lions Club in 1992, Pearl has brought positive change to the town of Limbe and its environs with the realisation of many projects most notably, the donation of a blood blank to the Limbe Provincial Hospital, provision of free opthalmological screening, dental care, books etc to the community.

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
