The Lennox Lions Club is the only service organization in Lennox, South Dakota. Our members are dedicated to serving our community in the areas of vision, hearing, diabetes, hunger, childhood cancer, disaster relief and the environment. We also support Lions Clubs International Foundation, the South Dakota Lions Foundation, the Leader Dog Program and the South Dakota Lions Eye and Tissue Bank in Sioux Falls.

The Lennox Lions Club was established in 1978 and celebrated its 45th anniversary in 2023. Join us for a monthly club meeting to learn more about our local efforts.

Our motto is WE SERVE.

Who Can Join?

Lions Club membership is not exclusive or costly. Each new member is invited to join by a member in good standing. Lions welcome both men and women to join in service.

The dues are $60 a year. Dues cover the costs of local club administration and affiliation with Lions Clubs International. There is a one-time initiation fee to cover expenses associated with membership

The Lennox Lions Club does not rely on donations or bequests, the funding for our projects comes directly from the work of the members. All profits from club fundraisers support designated projects.

Lions have been strong supporters of sight- related projects since Helen Keller urged Lions in 1925 to become “Knights of the Blind.”

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
