Kansas to Kenya preparing for 2023 ...

Kansas to Kenya is a group of volunteers who do a medical mission (from Kansas to Kenya!) every year. The Lawrence club has partnered with them to provide readers and sunglasses to hundreds of people in need; these glasses help provide opportunities to work, helping women and children out of abject poverty, domestic violence, human trafficking, and helping people of all ages improve their health and quality of life.

The group is preparing for their 2024 trip coming up in June, and they're seeking sponsorship for the additional baggage fees in order to bring more glasses to the people in Kenya. The cost in $100 per additional bag.

We'd like each club to please consider sponsoring all or a portion of a bag. Any amount will make a BIG difference! If your club is interested in supporting the project, please let me know.

Donations are payable to the Episcopal Diocese of Kansas, with "Kansas to Kenya Medical Team" in the memo. Mail them to Episcopal Diocese of Kansas, 835 SW Polk St  Topeka Kansas 66612

They need the donations by June 1st.
