Our Lions Club members have given thousands of hours to support community programs.  In addition, we have earned and donated more than $350,000 to local, state and international programs.  We donate to the below programs each year.

In the past our club donated $25,000 to the Winneconne Foundation. Since then we have continuously donated funds to this perpetual fund, the interest of which is used to fund a yearly scholarship to a Winneconne High School student and Neenah High School Student who is planning to go into a health related field.  Tens of thousands of dollars have been awarded to students with this scholarship program.

Club Legacy Projects:  1974-Present

  • Purchased and assembled playground equipment at Winchester school
  • Assembled playground equipment at Clayton Town Park. 
  • Purchased Bleachers, park grills and a BBQ for Clayton Town Park.
  • Purchased Soccer Goal Posts for the Clayton Town park.
  • Built picnic tables for Clayton Town Park on several occasions.
  • Built a concession shelter at Winchester's Earl Nelson Park baseball field. 
  • Built signs at the entrance to Trailhead park in Larsen.
  • Provided thousands of dollars in cash donations and equipment to the local town fire departments such as oxygen bottles, brush suits, ice rescue suits, grain bin rescue equipment, and an air compressor.
  • Helped fund repairs to the Winchester School.
  • Funded major tree planting at parks in both towns of Winchester and Clayton
  • Funded two baseball diamonds in the town of Winchester
  • Funded a new park fence in the town of Winchester
  • Helped to fund improvements at the Winchester Area Historic Society
  • Built ball park refreshment stand in town of Winchester
  • Over the years we sponsored little leagues, paid for uniforms, and equipment
  • Donated bleachers and lights for Winchester church ball diamond
  • Field lighting for Winneconne High School
  • Purchased cabinets for Ruth’s Pantry in Winchester
