We are a local service club dedicated to helping Lamar and communities throughout Southeast Colorado. Our members support neighbors, strengthen our community, and put Lionism into action.
Join Us for Lunch and Service
General meetings: 2nd and 4th Wednesdays, September through May, 12:00-1:00 P.M. at Tavern 1301, Historic Cow Palace Inn, 1301 N Main St, Lamar, CO 81052. Visitors are welcome.
Serving Our Community
Our Flag Project at the Prowers County Courthouse features a 20 x 30 foot American flag on an 80-foot pole. See Club Projects to learn more about our community work.

105 Years Serving Southeast Colorado
Since the spring of 1921, the Lamar Lions Club has served Lamar and communities across Southeast Colorado — more than a century of Lionism in action. Over the years, Lamar has known breakfast, evening, and noon Lions clubs. Today that tradition continues as we meet, serve, and strengthen our hometown together.
Our motto is We Serve. Inspired by Helen Keller’s call to become “Knights of the Blind,” Lamar Lions help bring clearer vision and hope to people who need it. Where there is a need, there is a Lion.
