Lakes of the Four Seasons Lions Club

Serving LOFS, Winfield, Winfield Township and Porter Township

Serving our 47th Year

Celebrating 105 Years of Lions Clubs International

The Lakes of the Four Seasons Lions Club is an active group of volunteer women and men who serve our community and the world.

We provide the community with an Easter Egg Hunt, 4th of July Celebration, End of Summer Bash, Blood Drives and Children's Christmas Party.  We support the Local Food Pantries in Lake and Porter Counties, the Caring Place, St. Jude House,   St. Clare Clinic, The LOFS Girl Scout and Boy Scout Troops and Meals on Wheels.  We provide the local grade schools with school supplies.

Over the years the Lions developed Lions Park by building a parking lot, shelter, playground and a walking path.  The Lions purchased a wheelchair accessible swing for the park.  The park is used by many sports teams for practice.  Many groups and families have picnics at the shelter.  The walking path is ideal for those needing a safe place to exercise.  We have added benches to the playground areas in Lions Park and Baran Family Prairie Park. The Lions have added a Brick Memorial near the Flag Poles at Lions Park.  Bricks are currently on sale for $75.  There are Brick Order Forms at the LOFS Lakehouse Lobby.   Contact any LOFS Lions Member for information.

The LOFS Lions have worked closely with the LOFS Fire Force to purchase AEDs for the Clubhouse, Pool, Security Squad Cars and some Fire Force vehicles.

We have partnered with the LOFS Fire Force in the Project Lifesaver Program which provides a timely response to save lives and reduce potential injury for adults and children who wander due to a cognitive condition.

The LOFS Lions purchased furniture and blue flower pots for the Lakehouse Patio.

The LOFS Lions have partnered with the Knights of Columbus to collect Bicycles. The Knights of Columbus repair and refurbish the bikes.  They give them to children in need.

We provide Scholarships to local High School graduates.

The LOFS Lions have donated funds for the handicapped accessible dock near the LOFS Clubhouse and the handicapped access to the LOFS pool.

The LOFS Lions have donated funds toward the LOFS Driving Range Project and the LOFS Master Plan.

We purchase Eyeglasses for those who need a helping hand.  We help Santa shop for those families that need us.
