Pride of Laguna Creek Lions Club Celebrates Over 30 Years of Service in the Sacramento Community
Since its chartering by Lions Club International in 1993, the Pride of Laguna Creek Lions Club has proudly served the Sutter Zone within District 4 C5. Known for its dedication to community service,the club partners annually with Cosumnes Community Services District to host the beloved "Egg" Stra-Ordinary Easter and Breakfast with Santa events.
With a strong and unwavering focus on youth empowerment and veteran outreach, the Lions Club sponsors several Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts. The club also champions patriotism through its Flag Day presentations at Elk Grove elementary schools, where members engage with students in grades 2 through 5, sharing the importance of national pride. Additionally, the club is committed to supporting veterans through programs like Horses Healing Heroes and participation in Veterans Stand Down events.
"We may be a small club, but we take great pride in the big impact we make through our dedication to service and community involvement," said President Lion Steven Larson. "We are committed to growing our reach and supporting the youth and families in our area."
