Club Projects
What do we do?
Working with the Louisiana Eye Foundation (https://lioneyes.org/) we do the following:
(1) Working to identify eye problems in the very young (4 to 6 yrs) by screenings at local schools, day care facilities, and once a month at the Moncus Park (former Horse Farm) Farmer's Market.
(2) Providing eye exams and eyeglasses to the elderly and disadvantaged,
(3) Collect used eye glasses to be given away of medical missions. Used prescription eye glasses can be dropped of at most local optometry stores. Ask for the Lions Club Eye Glass Donation Box.
And we also support the Lions Club Summer Camp (https://lionscamp.org/) for children with disabilities attending the Lions Club Summer Camp.
