Kyle ‘Glows’ Green Initiative

The Mission: This May, the Kyle Lions Club invites the community to Shine a Light on Mental Health.
The Goal: Swap one outdoor bulb for a Green Light or set your LEDs to green.

  • The Message: A green light shows our Veterans, students, and neighbors they are not alone.

Look for the Kyle Lions Canopy at these upcoming city events:

  • Thursday, April 2 | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Jams on the Green @ La Verde Park

  • Saturday, April 4 | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Easter Egg-Stravaganza @ Gregg-Clarke Park

  • Saturday, April 11 | 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Market Days @ Mary Kyle Hartson Park

  • Sunday, April 19 | 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Front Porch Days @ Plum Creek (Haupt Pool)


The Main Event: Community Resilience Open House

  • Friday, May 8 | 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM (Drop-in anytime!)

  • Location: La Verde Park Brick & Mortar Clubhouse

  • Details: Join us inside the clubhouse for local resource pamphlets and panel sessions (5:30 PM & 6:30 PM), then head back out for the City's Lilo & Stitch Movie in the Park!

Kyle Veterans Day Parade & Resource Panel
