PROJECTS CARRIED OUT IN JULY 2009.
1.CEREBRAL PALSY : 10/07/09
Susila, a 26 year female is a victim of Cerebral Palsy. Her mother is is sole breadwinner after Susila's father passed away.Susila's mother had to give up her domestic helper's job to take care of her invalid child.
4 Lions, lead by IPP Anu and the President visited Susila to hand over goodies worth RM300.00.
2. SCHOLARSHIP: 8/07/09
Two poor students appealed for donation for College fees. The Club approved RM300.00 for each student. The members chipped in. RM 500.00 & 400.00, were given to these two poor students.
3. SIGHT FOR SIGHTLESS: 12/07/09
5 poor students from SJKT Ldg. Harvard 3, a Tamil school, were presented each with spectacles. This project was carried out jointly wtih PTA (Parent Teacher Association). The Club paid RM120.00 towards this Project.

1. CHARTER/ INDUCTION /INSTALLATION DINNER & DANCE NITE : 21/08/09
The Lions Club of Kuala Muda celebrated their 10 th year Anniversary in a grand way.
Five New Lions roared to the call of the Inducting Officer VDG Lion Hudson Hah.
The incoming President and his BOD were dully Installed by none other the DG himself, DG Lion Choong Kewi Loi. To witness the event were the Region 3 Chairman , Zone 3 Chairman and Lion Dignatries from other Lions Clubs accompanied by their guest. Chinese Course Dinner for over 100 persons were served.The highlight was the fellowship that followed after the Official was over. The guest joined the members and danced to the rythm of a local band.
2. AWARENESS TO INFLUENZA H1N1 : 30/08/09
The President accompanied by Ln.Selva and Ln Dr.Harjinder Singh distributed ‘MASK’ to the students of SR MAHAJOTHY Tamil school. Ln Dr Harginder spoke about the ills of Influenza H1N1 to the students.

1. LIONS RUN FOR CHARITY - OUR LEGS CAN MAKE A CHANGE : 4/09/09
More than 100 men and women participated in this colourful Charity run, organised by our President Lion M.Chandran. This is our annual mini Fund Raising event. We collected more than RM 3000 towards Charity.The Participants were each given a tea shirt bearing our Logo with the caption ' LIONS RUN FOR CHARITY'.
2.LIONS FAMILY SOCIAL : 10/09/09
The Lions and their families had their first Social Nite for the FY2009/2010, at the Residence of Charter President Lion Dr.N.S.Sanan at Cinta Sayang Golf & Country Club. The families including their children initiated the social with a run around the Golf course. They were later treated a sumptious dinner, hosted by the out going President, Lion Anuradha and her Principal Officers, Ln Prem and Ln Ganason.
3. CHARITY STARTS FROM YOUNG : 10/09/09
Lions children have contributed to needy children in our society by sparing their pocket money. This Project was initiated by the Charter President Lion Dr.N.S.Sanan last year. In succession the Lions Children have collected RM 600.00 to be given away to the poor & needy children..
PROJECTS FOR OCTOBER 2009.
1. LUNCH WITH 20 POOR SCHOOL CHILDREN-2/10/09
20 poor school children were hosted to a sumptious lunch at restaurant Sin Hin Loong -2/10/09. 8 Lions participated. The Lunch was sponsored by the owners of the restaurant.
2. BRINGING DEEPAVALI CHEERS- 9/10/10. The President and the Lions & their spouses visited :1) The old folks & orphan home, 2) the hard core poor at Sg.Getah2 and 3) Sg.Bongkoh estate and distrbute cash,clothes and goodies to celebrate the near approaching Deepavali- the festival of Lights.
