INTRODUCTION
The Lions Club of Kottawa Metro – District 306 C2 Sri Lanka was chartered on October 2002. This Club was extended by Lions Club of Kottawa Central under the guidance of Lion Col. Dr. Thusitha Liyanaarachchi. We united under the flag of lions, to give new definition to our Motto “We Serve”. We exist in the society to identify and support the people who need some assistance to survive. As individuals, we have limits. But together, we can go beyond limits. Our objective is to serve people not only in our area but rest of the people in our country. During the past, we organized several multi service projects in our area while we extended our hands to people who displaced due to terrorism.
The purpose of this web page is to highlight some of the good things that our lions do and share our experience with all lions clubs in the world as well as other service organizations exist. Our own club members can use this web page as an effective media of communication. People who need assistance and who wish to assist can be linked through this web page. We can use this web page to motivate, appreciate and recognize lions who dedicated to the service. Finally, this web site will be a facilitator to achieve common goals of lionism.
