Bio: Aloha kākou, I'm a student at the University of Portland, currently based in Portland, Oregon. Before college, I served for two years with the Konawaena High School Leo Club, where I developed a strong passion for community service and civic engagement. Some of my favorite volunteer experiences include manning the Running Aid Station at the Ironman World Championships and supporting environmental education and restoration at Konawaena Elementary through the SWCD program. Iʻm highly involved and always looking for ways to give back to my community, regardless of where I am. "ʻAʻohe hana nui ke alu ʻia (No task is too big when done together)."

Bio: Aloha mai kākou! I’m Jenna, the 2nd Vice President and Marketing Chair for the Kona Healthy Leo Lions Club. I’ve been a proud Leo since 2023, serving over 100 hours of community service. Before joining KHLLC, I was the President of Konawaena High School’s Leo Club, where my passion for helping others really began. Now, as a Business major at UH Mānoa, I love using creativity and social media to bring people together and highlight the amazing work our club does across Hawaiʻi Island and Oʻahu.

Bio: Hi! My name is Michelle Tam, and my journey as a Leo/Lion began when I joined the Konawaena High School Leo Club as a freshman (2017). In 2020, I became a member of the Lions Club of Kona and then transferred to the Kona Healthy Leo Lion Club upon its charter. I graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Hawaiian Language from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (2023). I'm currently in my 1st year of graduate school, pursuing a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Psychiatric Mental Health (DNP-PMHN). As a Lion, I’m passionate about serving my community, and I strive to make a meaningful impact in all that I do. Bio: Hi everyone! My name is Lion Tad Matsumura and I'm this year's club treasurer. Right now in my life I'm a college freshman attending Hawaiʻi Community College at Pālamanui on Hawaiʻi Island. As I continue to grow from being a former Leo to now being a Leo Lion, my love for serving others has grown. I have made so many friends through the Lions Club and I'm proud to be a Lion. Before joining, I was very shy and felt like I didn't have a purpose. However, through Leo and the Lions club, I've gained so much more confidence in myself and I found my love to serve others.

Bio: Hi! My name is Shayla Sayphone, and I am currently in my 2nd year of the PharmD Program at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy. I joined the Konawaena High School Leo Club during my freshman year and became Vice President during my senior year, from 2019-2020. Being born and raised in Kona, I have always taken pride in giving back to the community where I grew up.
