LIONS AWARDS DESCRIPTIONS
Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF)-Maple Leaf Award
In July 2018, LCIF launched Campaign 100: Empowering Service with the objective to raise $300 million. The money raised would ensure that Lions have the resources to increase their service impact, fight diabetes and expand their global causes. The goal was to empower Lions to serve more than 200 million individuals per year by 2021 and ensure that 100 years from now Lions would still be making the world a better place. CWCS Lions received the Maple Leaf Award in 2022 for contributing in excess of $360 per member. Over all, the campaign raised over $324 million.
