King City Lions Club

Serving Our Community. Changing Lives. Building Partnerships.

At the King City Lions Club, we believe strong communities are built through service, generosity, and collaboration. Whether you're looking to partner with us, volunteer, donate, or become a King City Lion, there’s a place for you here.

Convalescent Equipment Loan Program (DME)

One of our most impactful community services is our Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Loan Program. This program provides short-term access to essential mobility and recovery equipment at an affordable donation-based rate.

Commonly Available Equipment:

  • Wheelchairs

  • Walkers (standard and seated)

  • Shower chairs and stools (swivel, sliding, XL)

  • Commodes (seat risers, safety rails, bedside)

  • Crutches and canes

Occasionally available:

  • Transport chairs

  • Walking boots

  • Blood pressure cuffs

  • Other specialty items

Donations are encouraged based on the type of equipment and the length of use. Your contributions directly support community programs and help us serve more neighbors in need.

📞 To arrange pick-up or drop-off of CLEAN, GENTLY USED equipment:
Call or text Lion Rick at (503) 515-3212 to schedule a time at our storage garage.

Please note: Due to limited storage space, large items such as electric scooters, motorized wheelchairs, lift chairs, and hospital beds require special arrangements in advance.

Interested in partnering with us to expand this program? We welcome healthcare providers, senior communities, and local businesses to collaborate.

Recycling for a Cause – BottleDrop Give

Our BottleDrop Give program (formerly Cans & Bottles for a Cause) has become one of our most successful and accessible fundraisers.

Over the years, this program has raised more than $15,000, helping us:

  • Support local food banks and shelters

  • Fund community service initiatives
