Lions Expo 2012 To 2015 Details

Team Lions Expo 2015-16 heartily remembers you for your association with Lions Expo since its inception in 2012. It’s been fifth consecutive year since we are organizing Lions Expo. The event is planned from 8th Jan to 12th Jan 2016 this year and huge ground of Govt. Polytechnique will be the venue as per the last expo. The sapling which has been sown in 2012 now grown into a full fledged tree bearing coloured flowers in form of all the associates, sponsors, promoters & participants and tasty fruits in form of relationships we made with people like you & fund raised in those events which eventually being utilised for the social cause & service activities we carry out throughout the year.
Primarily in year 2012 Lions Expo was organised for the very first time and it was great success in its inception itself. It has got commercial zone, food zone and amusement zone and was a four day event. The fund raised was utilized for polio corrective surgeries in collaboration with Narayan Seva Sansthan Udaipur.
Lions Expo 2012-13 is remembered for Helicopter Ride we brought for the people of khamgaon which was a first attempt of its sort. They really enjoyed the helicopter ride besides the bigger & better arrangements of Expo. The fund raised was unitised for tricycle distribution & more polio corrective surgeries.
Lions Expo 2013-14 saw introduction of Hot Air Balloon ride for the very first time in skies of khamgaon. At the same venue of Nagar Parshhad Maidan at jalamb naka we put up an improvised bigger & better show. The fund raised through this expo was utilised for Jaipur Foot, Callipers Disabled Camp & Go Green project.
Lions Expo 2014-15 was organized at huge ground Govt. Polytechnique and will be remembered for its adventure sports activities and Parasailing ride which again was first ever attempt, for people of khamgaon & around. For the first time even the concept of Domes has come to khamgaon. The fund raised through this expo was utilized for opening & running a Free Eye Clinic for needy & poor patients and project Go Green.
You will be happy to note that Lions Club khamgaon have acquired Municipal Hospital, Nandura road and are pledged to start a state of Art Eye Hospital in near future. As per the saying charity begins at home. The lion members have contributed to create a corpus fund of 25 lakhs rupees. Besides this the fund raised through Lions Expo 2015-16 will be utilized for the same.
