Some Thoughts   on Lions Family Day…………..

1) Entrance tickets to Sulanka Resort, Aluthgama Lion/Lion lady Rs: 200.00(Per Person), Leos/Children above 10 yrs..Rs: 100.00(Per person) children below 10 years free.

2) Instant  food  will  be prepare  at  the  venue  and  you may   purchase  any  quantity .Bring your  own  liquor  and   buy   chaser  from   the Elephant  House  outlet. Kadala and Manioc bites will be provided free of   charge.

3) Evening   tea could be purchased from   X-TEA stall.

4) Elephant rides, Boat rides, Surfing demo; beside other sporting events.

5) All  members  to  assemble  at  8 00 am  at    Aluthgama  town  and  proceed  to  the   venue   on  a  motorcade.

6) After  a  lapse  of  5  years  , fashionable  lions  t-shirt  in a Small, Medium, Large  and  XL   size   at  Rs:600.00  each. T-shirts for children at RS: 400.00 each.

                                During  the  festivity  a  meaning full  event  will  be  implemented  by  the  District  Ladies  Committee. It’s  the  induction    of  100  family  lions  (ladies) who  will  be  inducted  by   non-other  than  our  pride  of Sri Lanka , International President  2007/2008  Lion  Mahendra  Amarasuriya,  PMJF   and  his  gracious  spouse  Lioness Kushlani  PMJF.

                                                   Our target is a minimum of 10 family Lions from a Region.  Best Region  exceeding  the highest in  target  will be  recognized with  a  trophy  ,  zone  with  an  award  and  the  Lion  /Lioness brings  more  family  Lions  will be  rewarded. Special awards at the yearend convention.
