Bagmati Lions

Lions Club of Kathmandu Bagmati with more than 30 years in Lionism was chartered by Lion Govinda Ram Shrestha in 1987 with the objectives of cleaning Bagmati river and service activities for the commnities in need.

 Since its establishment, the club implemented many activities mainly in the field of community health, school support, environment, hunger relief, support to elderly homes, post disaster relief and training to club members and youth mobilization. 

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
