Official Rules
*Saskatchewan Fishing Regulations are in effect for this tournament. All anglers 16 years of age and older who participate in CFEs must possess a valid angling license (excluding Saskatchewan residents 65 or older, First Nations or Metis with Treaty or Aboriginal rights recognized in Saskatchewan).
*This is a catch and release tournament. Fish will be released after weighing.
*Pre-drilled holes or drill your own within the designated area.
*Fish must be caught within the time frame and designated area.
*Northern Pike, walleye, and perch will be allowed to enter. To be accepted, perch must have a minimum length of five inches.
*A horn will be sounded to signal the start and stop times.
*No lines are to be dropped into the holes before the official start time.
*Electronic are NOT allowed.
*Ice Shelters are allowed.
*Fish will be brought to the weighing station where the weight and time of the catch will be recorded.
*A signature of the contestant will be required to verify the record.
*During the tournament, the top weights will be posted on the leader board at the weighing station.
*During the course of the tournament, all contestants will be held responsible for their own safety, actions, and fishing equipment.
*Any infraction of the rules will result in disqualification.
