Kakira Lions Club was chartered in 1993 with 45 members consisting primarily the employees of Kakira Sugar Ltd; the flagship of Madhvani Group of companies. The club grew year after year from 45 members to a tune of 86 members. The club serves the local communities who are needy and less fortunaten through implementation of various projects and activities.
