With 31 Lions ready to SERVE and led by president Lion Eddie Mann, The Jeffersontown Lions Club was able to make a donation to the Louisville VA Center and other charity organizations such as Kentucky Lion Eye Foundation (KLEF), Trooper Island Journey for Sight, Crusade for Children Little League in Jeffersontown. The Club’s total income was $31050.00

There were 30 members during this year. The president was Lion Jay Campbell.
The total income for the year was $ 33, 375.00 and the Jeffersontown Lions Club was able to help many other organizations such as:

By July 2003, the club has reached the accumulated donation of $ 95,211.44 to Camp Crescendo. The Louisville Defender from March 6, 2003 published that “The Jeffersontown Lions Club has donated over $ 30,000.00 to several community groups and organizations many of whih are located in west Louisville. The Jefferson News-Leader on February of 2003 also published a picture of Jeffersontown Lion’s President Jay Campbell donating a check to the Black Achievers director Carolyn Johnson.

The Jeffersontown Lions Club is proud to communicate that during the fiscal year between July 2004 and July 2005 we have donated $35,504 .00 to the community. This amount doesn’t include the monthly donations we gave to Camp Crescendo. He increase the number of members from 21 to 22 active Lions ready to serve!

This year we focus our mission to:
- Members worked for Habitat for Humanity
- Lion Members taught crafts, and workers drove buses for Senior Citizens Center
- Purchase 26 pair of glasses for needy people of our district

The Lions Club members:
- Removed and delivered total kitchen equipment donated by R.J. Reynolds Co. andvalued at $ 95,000.00 to Camp Crescendo:
- Three refrigerators,
- Two ovens
- Two sinks
- One dishwasher
- One stainless counter top
- One ice machine
- Shelves and other items.
- Purchased special equipment to enable students to read
- Gave $ 1000.00 scholarship to Jeffersontown High School.

The Jeffersontown Lions Club with the support of the Lyndon Elks Club has helped our cause by $ 163, 659.00. At CAMP CRESCENDO, The Lions Club offers free of charge summer camps for children with visual or hearing impairments. Even after the Bingo activities were cancelled, the Jeffersontown Lions Club has continue its commitment to support CAMP CRESCENDO. This is what we have done so far.
