Tuzla Lions Diabetes Screening - diabetes screening

Istanbul Tuzla Lions Club Diabetes Activity (In RAP) Tuzla Lions Club organised a diabetes activity. This activity was organized for 80 4th grade students and their teachers of Tuzla Ataturk Primary School. Diabetes activity was carried out with the permission of students’ families and local authorities. Tuzla Lions Club’s President Ln. Ibrahim Tekcan supervised the activity with Ln. Hasan Karaca who is the leader of Diabetes Committee. Members of Tuzla Lions Club and family of these students also attended this activity. The results of this, four students and four teachers identified with diabetes. Therefore, school managements communicated with the parents of these students and they were directed to the health organisations for treatment Tuzla Lions Club will continue their activities until the end of the term and the new term management surely will take over these activities.
