Here's what we have completed last term starting on 1 July 2009 and ending 30 June 2009:
- Launching of EM Use by Ipoh City Council Mayor Dato Roshidi on 7/3 at Kg Simee market. The project was highlighted in full front page color by the local Chinese media. [OC: PP Dr Anthony Ng]
- Health Campaign at Taman Klebang Ria on 1/11. Over 120 people were screened [OC Lion R Vanitha]
- Our 8th Anniversary was celebrated on 20/11 with a visit by sister club Singapore Evergreen and a tour to Penang [OC Lion Alan Low]. A donation of school uniforms to children from four homes was carried out jointly with Singapore Evergreen [OC Lion Albert Kok]
- Joint Peace Poster Contest was held for 66 participants at Chung San primary school on 18/10. [OC Lion Chun Wah Hoo]
- Health Campaign was held on 27/9 at Chi Pee Seah center, Pasir Pinji. 120 senior citizens were screened for sight, hearing, bone and blood sugar. [OC Lion Nicholas Tham]
- Joint Road Safety Campaign at Tapah R&R (northbound) on 18/9. 1000 bags containing safety info and goodies were distributed to drivers. [OC Lion Lawrence Leong]
- A Japanese Youth Exchangee was hosted from 1/8 to 13/8/09. [OC Lion Anthony Ng]
- Journey for Sight in Ipoh on 12/7/09. More than 150 members of the public and Lions took part in this unique event that received wide coverage in the mass media. [OC Lion Albert Kok]

- Mooncake Festival with Orphans & Underprivileged Children on 12/9/08

This is the year we started the Lions Eye Institute. This RM1million initiative to help restore the sight of the poor was given tentative approval at the Lions 308 B2 Cabinet Meeting in Jan 2008.
