Bag up your gently worn shoes, and bring them with you to the next Club meeting. President Jeff, or another club member, will then arrange to transport collected shoes to Mount Vernon, to be assembled and shipped.
The 21st ANNUAL IOWA CITY NOON LIONS CLUB FOUNDATION GOLF TOURNAMENT was held on Thursday, July 11th, at Finkbine Golf Course, is in the books! One of the area's most poular golf outings, this is our major annual fundraising event. The weather was beautiful, the course was in great shape, and many golfers commented on what fun they had. Thanks to the efforts of Project Chairman Doug Busch, and his wife Julie, along with the efforts of many club members, along with the participation of former professional, Hawkeye and City High football star Tim Dwight, the event was again a resounding success. The proceeds raised will help the Iowa City Noon Lions Club's support in this community and beyond. Thank you to all who made the day a great one!
