Annual Projects are as follows:

Sight & Hearing:

Sight & Hearing for all qualifying residents of Illinois Valley who need them. The I.V. Lions Club helps with eye glasses with exams every month. The club also helps with free exams and  hearing aids. We're very proud of the work we do in this field.

Medical Equipment Loans:

We loan out hospital medical equipment to any resident who needs it. We have a warehouse full of wheelchairs, walkers, canes, portable toilets, shower stools and much more.

Easter Egg Hunt each Easter:

Each Easter Sunday the Illinois Valley Lions Club hides over 3000 eggs for the children to find. Along with the colored eggs they will find plastic eggs with coupons for free gifts and toys. They get to meet our club lion and the Easter Bunny. We also have our train there for free rides for all the kids who attend the event.

Labor Day Festival:

The Illinois Valley Lions Club has a 3 day event every Labor Day that is the biggest festival in the valley since 1962. At the festival you can find rides for the kids to enjoy, nightly concerts, daily talent contest for both young and old. We have Tuff Truck races full of spills and roll-overs. Local venders bring their goods for you to check out. You can't have a festival without food and we have food. You can have the famous "Lion Burger" . Have one and you'll want another very soon. We also have softball tournaments.

Labor Day Parade:

Each and every year on Labor Day we have the largest parade in the valley. Every year our parades get larger with more participants wanting to join the fun. Illinois Valley High School Scholarship Fund:

Each year the Illinois Valley Lions Club give out five $1000 Scholarships to students who need that extra financial help in making their dream of college made possible.
