Lions Club of Hyderabad North is a senior club of this region with a standing of 47 years of lionistic service. The club has earned a name in the field of Eyecare and Mega Rural Eye Surgical camps conducted by their past District Governor Late Lion Dr.P.Ranga Reddy, an eminent Eye Surgeon and recepient of Ambassador of Goodwill award bestowed by Lions International. With an active membership of 62 Lions, the club meets regularly twice in a month with eminent personalities addressing the members on varied important topics. The club has many lady Lions actively taking up family oriented activities. The club was led by lady presidents twice in the recent past. A new team of office bearers and directors for the ensuing lionistic year 2011-12 were installed on 10th june 2011, by the chief guest and installation officer past district governor Lion A. Ranga Rao, in a grand installation nite in the august presence of Vice District Governors and region chairman and large number of Lion members.
