What we have been doing:
- collecting used eye glasses
- paying for eye exams for those who qualify
- purchasing eyeglasses for those who qualify
- assisting in securing hearing aids for those in need who qualify
- performing eye screening exams with the use of the Mobile Eye Screening Unit, screening 264 students at Hurricane Middle School
- giving $250 to the West Virginia Sight Conservation Foundation
- total paid for eye exams for year 2008-2009 was $885.
How We Have Raised Money:
- conducted two pancake breakfasts - made over $500
- participated in two white cane days - made $992
- participated in a vacation raffle, making $260
