Donations

The Lions Club continues to offer people the opportunity to give something back to our community

Our club uses donations for all of the following and more:

• Your time, service and talents
• We purchase eye exams and eye glasses for students in the Huntsville Independent School District who cannot afford them.
• Each year the Huntsville Lions Club give scholarships to Huntsville High School graduating seniors.
• We help blind persons who need assistance.
• Our club send handicapped and diabetic children to our Lions Camp in Kerrville for one week (this includes transportation, meals and lodging at no charge, if requested by the family).
• We place flags around Huntsville on holidays.
• We support the Leader Dog Program, the Lions Eye Bank in the Texas Medical Center in Houston and the Houston Light House for the Blind and many more Lion’s Charities.

Donations of used eyeglasses are gladly accepted.
