PROJECTS

Service Projects

-Camp Leo.  In July, we partner with area Lions Clubs to host legally blind children from across South Carolina for one week on Hilton Head Island.  Campers are between the ages of 7 and 17. 

-Vision and Hearing Screening.  Throughout the year hundreds of children are screened for visual and hearing impairments.

-Eye Glasses and Eye Exams.  Throughout the year we provide free/discounted eye examinations and glasses to those in need.

-Used Eye Glasses.  We collect used eye glasses throughout the year for distribution in developing nations.

-Leader Dog.  We provide continuing support for the Leader Dog program.  This program provides dogs to severely visually impaired people

Fund Raising Projects

-Heritage Golf Tournament.  In April we partner with area Lions Clubs to run a food and beverage concession at the 13th green.

-We hold the Camp Leo Golf Tournament annually.
