Board Meeting 6:10PM on 3/17/2026. 6 members present. Anyone was welcome to attend.

Motion made by Brady and seconded by Dave to approve the Secretary Report. Bruce gave the treasurer's report.

It was subject to audit. 

  • The Easter Egg Hunt will start at 9AM on April 4th. Those that are representing should be present by 8:15AM.

  • President Gary cited new members shall get the approval of the board before taking to the membership consistent with past practice. The board gave approval for potentially 2 new members.

  • A ramp built in conjunction with the Brillion Lions Club was publicized in the Brillion News.

  • A ramp previously built in the trailer park was discussed. The previous owner  moved out. Paperwork escaped. There was a need for the ramp for the new owner. It was not moved. A motion made by Brady and seconded by Chad to purchase equipment to better identify future ramps built.

  • Gary, Bruce, and Cassandra have equipment for the medical gear locker.

  • Brady gave updates to the big bucks raffle.

  • Bruce gave an update on Troy Burnell College fund.

  • Gary reported planting 5 trees for $2000 at civic park. 11 trees  to be planted in conjunction with lions and a grant.

  • April Cornea transport was discussed. There will be a new pick up location in Fond Du Lac. Adam C will be the speaker at the April Zone meeting.

  • Gary discussed the Joint Meeting Agenda. 

  • A correction to the May Brat Fry recommendation was made.

  • The next community picnic meeting will be April 28th.

  • There was discussion on the District Workshop, Lions Camp, and State Convention. 

Motion made by Darcey and seconded by Brady to adjourn at 7:11PM

Joint Sherwood Meeting 6:10PM on 3/19/2026. Roughly 53 members were present.

  • Official minutes were not taken consistent with club past practice

  • President Gary and President Sarah highlighted activities and gave appreciation as appropriate.

  • PDG Fred highlighted district activities.

  • PDG Fred inducted 10 new members after giving the history of the Wisconsin Lions Foundation, Wisconsin Lions Camp, and Lions International.

Brady- To all who supported the big bucks raffle. Chad reported 760+ tickets sold. Alicia reported 424 attended.

Darcey- Dane for the establishment of the raffle and Past Lion Board/Officers for leading of the Hilbert Lions

 

    Support Request

  • 11 members will attend the April Zone Meeting in Brillion so far.

  • Looking for at least 4-6 volunteers for April highway clean up. Casey

  • Looking for 6-7 volunteers for Brat Fry. Roger

  • Reach back as soon as possible if you are attending District Training. A laptop is NOT required.

  • Reach back if you are attending the State Convention. Registration due April 30th.
