Overview

This publication has been released on a monthly basis since 1971, serving as a community awareness initiative. Its ongoing mission is to keep residents informed and engaged with local events and developments.

Production Process

All aspects of the publication—including material collection, typing, printing, and assembly—are handled entirely by the Harvey Station Lions. Their dedicated volunteer work ensures the publication remains a valuable resource for the community.

Submission Deadlines

Community members wishing to contribute content should note that the cut-off date for monthly submissions is the 13th of each month. Submissions received after this date will be considered for the following month's edition.

For several years, the Harvey Lions have organized an annual project with the heartfelt goal of making Christmas a more joyful and comfortable time for individuals and families in the Harvey area who are less fortunate. This initiative reflects the spirit of giving and togetherness that defines our community during the holiday season.

This project is made possible through the collaborative efforts of various local partners. The Harvey Lions work closely with local merchants and churches, the high school, and the Seniors Club. Together, these groups pool their resources and energy to ensure the project’s success and the well-being of those in need within our community.
