To all Lions of Georgia 18N

Our District convention is fast approaching. We have registration forms available for all to register for the dinner and events as well as information for the hotel to stay at. Please fill out your registration forms and mail in to the address listed on the form and make your reservations at the hotel listed on form as well. There will be a golf tournament that our District Governor and his golf team have organized for Friday afternoon. Please try to put a team together for this fun event. A flyer with details are being distributed thru this month’s newsletter, Constant Contact and from a mass email from State secretary Linda Selby. Be sure to let us know if you will be in attendance on Friday night on your form as we will be providing a casual ice cream social and we need a head count for food preparations.
On Saturday morning we will have a meet and greet with our guest speaker - and then a training session until lunch. Lunch is available on your own conveniently located at hotel restaurant. There will be a PDG Association luncheon at the hotel restaurant during lunch from 12 to 1 pm. Cabinet meeting is Saturday afternoon from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Social hour from 6 pm to 6:45 pm and evening banquet will begin at 7pm that will include Hall of Fame induction ceremony. We truly encourage and invite as many of you as possibly can to make plans to attend this year’s convention.
Deadline to register for convention and events and hotel rooms is February 12 , 2020.
Opportunities to assist in defraying the costs of the convention are:

1. We are providing an opportunity for clubs and individuals to place ads in the program for a nominal fee. 1/8 page ad is $35.00 ¼ page ad is $75.00 ½ page ad is $100.00 full page ad is $150.00  Deadline to submit ad copy and payment is February 25, 2020.

2. We will have a silent auction with baskets provided by clubs from across the district. Deadline to let Cathy Williams know that your club will be providing a basket so enough space is provided is
By February 25, 2020.

3. Road signs will be placed along the driveway to the hotel. These are available to be purchased by clubs and individuals. Each road sign is $20. Deadline to have copy and payment turned in for your sign to Cathy Williams is February 25, 2020.
