The Harsens Island Lions through generous donations and volunteer labor have maintained a Hall on their property on LaCroix. This facility has been and is home to many other charitable and community organizations from the Lioness Lions Club to the Seniors of the island. The Hall serves as the Island's polling place and has been designated an emergency shelter. We maintain a supply of basic equipment (wheel chairs, crutches, canes as well as walkers and shower stools) for temporarily disabled residents and their families. Our outside pavilion as well as the hall with an inspected kitchen are available for rent for non-commercial (family) events and we make our trap range available by requests until October.
