June 5, 2010 Streator Tornado. Hardscrabble Lions distributed more than $6,000 in gift cards to tornado victims.

Central School principal, and Hardscrabble Lion Jama Wahl, received a $10,000 Emergency Grant from Lions Clubs International Foundation as a result of a flood that damaged the school. A portion of the grant helped purchase food service equipment.
