This is our largest fundraiser of the year and every Hannibal LION has a part in its success. Our club is committed to donating several thousand dollars to various community projects, like scholarships, help with eye glasses, exams and more. Thank you for being involved, selling tickets and enjoying the barbeque - all of this helps make Hannibal a better place.

Lions Annual Scholarship
Each year the Hannibal LIONS Club donates cash to deserving students to help them with their college expenses. For more information, contact Lion Jim Humphreys.

Lions Used Eyeglass Donation Boxes
Every year we place eyeglass donation boxes around town so folks can donate used eyeglasses to LIONS. The eyeglasses are then repaired and donated to disadvantaged people that need glasses. You can find donation boxes inside F&M Bank's main branch at 505 Broadway.

Canton LIONS Club Sponsor
The Hannibal LIONS Club has agreed to be the Canton LIONS Club sponsor. This means that we gift the new club their banner and gavel. Our responsibility to to help the new club obtain and maintain a high level of commitment, activity and enthusiasm. Here are some other responsibilities:

• Support the new LIONS
• Check that all charter member applicants meet LIONS standards
• Hold an in-depth organizational meeting
• Ensure the club is properly oriented into LIONS
• Co-host Charter Night
• Encourage district participation
• Encourage inter club functions
• Help develop a membership retention & growth plan
• Assist in preparing the club's meeting agenda
• Support the club's activities
• Assist the club when called upon
• Provide guidance without interfering
