Hamilton Lions Club

About Our Club

The Hamilton Lions club is based out of the small town of Hamilton located in Central New York. We are a fairly small but very active club that has been growing steadily in the last 5 years. Our club has been active since 1954 when it was chartered and we have worked hard to help our local community as much as possible.

Some of our current activities and service projects include

  • Volunteering at local Red Cross blood drives
  • Participating in the Adopt-a-Highway program,
  • Assisting with hearing aids purchases for local community members,
  • Sorting eyeglasses for donation,
  • Purchasing and distributing backpacks for local children in need,
  • Volunteering at Rogers Environmental Education Center,
  • Participating in the Pet-a-Palooza event for local pet adoption agencies,
  • Interfaith Children Christmas sponsorship
  • Donations to our local public library for large print materials

Lions Clubs International is the world's largest service club organization with more than 1.4 million members in approximately 46,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas around the world.
