Club Projects

We Serve Our Community By:

• Providing funding for the borough's Christmas Lighting Program

• Donating over $6,000 to the Hamburg Library

• Working on or financing projects at the Hamburg Community Park

• Sponsoring a band at the annual King Frost Parade

• Providing over $15,000 to the Hamburg Fire Co. for equipment and maintenance

• Donating the red & white whips for the borough's fire hydrants

• Supporting our local EMS with over $10,000 in donations

• Donating a mobile video camcorder to the Hamburg Police Dept.

• Purchasing, collecting, and distributing new/used glasses for those in need

• Donating fruit baskets and gift cards to the blind, deaf, and needy in Hamburg

• Conducting and coordinating a semi-annual blood drive for the Keystone Blood Bank. Lions have collected over 1,000 pints of blood

• Combining our resources with other Lions Clubs in our District, State, and Country to support research for blindness, deafness, diabetes, and Lyme disease
